Include L. Balaji, Badrinath, Dinesh Karthik, Murali Karthik, Hemang Badani, Sadakuppan Ramesh and Theru Kumaran in the playing eleven. K. Srikanth as coach and S. Venkat as mandatory umpire in every match India plays.
Also insist on Dinesh Karthik's wife to be amongst the spectators attracting a mandatory 60 secs of air-time every 5 minutes.

Pradeep - Sachin is not even the best test batsman of this generation, as that accolade would go to one Mr. Rahul Dravid. So, there is no question of him being the greatest ever test batsman. Clear?

Btw even if Rohit Sharma makes it big, I don't think he would India's best ever test batsman. That would ALWAYS be SRT. :)

Wait!
Rohit Sharma is the umpteenth instance of a newcomer being hailed "great". Lets hope he doesn't join the ranks of his numerous predecessors and vanish from the cricketing scene before we know...

He will have to improve his technique and then only he will survive in the tests.
Also his shot selections are not great he gets out on not so great deliveries.

Of course, the bouncer rules and fields may hinder our judgement. But then, this is 2008 when it's impossible to get hit by the ball.

I do not know how be batted in T20.

I saw his 50 in the Ranji final against Bengal. Then, I thought, this boy might be just another case of reasonable hand-eye-coordination makes footwork look alright in Indian pitches kind of batsman. Since his initial movement is on the front foot.

He has managed to do that in Australia -- rather consistently, against decent good quick bowlers.

I predicted something on similar lines ("best ever" 'nellaam solra alavukku thenaavattu pathaadhu enakku) when I first saw him bat in the 2007 Twenty20 World Cup. Anyone who bats like that in a Twenty20 match would make great Test batsman-material, in my humble opinion.
