Nobody will like it. India’s political system has been a client-patron system that starts from the Centre and works its way deep into the local level. Local power centres that collaborate with each other will eventually splinter away. If India has a political plan for its future, such local power centres will be discouraged. They have always brought disunity and probably history will repeat itself.
