About badly executed bad ideas

THIS POST MAY CONTAIN AFFILIATE LINKS. PLEASE READ MY DISCLOSURE FOR MORE INFO.

Fiction, I have come to realize, isn’t easy to write. Much like a new and improved mouse trap that people don’t need, the number of attempts at it, for the same reason, is very high. As a blogger, one should know that.

Descriptive prose, however well written, has to be an insult to the reader. That is probably why I don’t think much of Andrea Lee. Which leaves me with the question, are sub plots that take the narrative forward necessarily good? Amitav Ghosh has demonstrated otherwise by producing a well written screenplay. That leaves us with the one Tamil hope.

One can always delay dissapointment with hope.
