Raapi knows this blog is now listless and bores even those don’t read it. That calls for no action.

Given the considered research and the careful conclusion above, the obvious answer is to write alternative history. Starting with the single most important event that would have changed the course of 20th Century. Therefore, Alfred E Smithwould have won in 1928 and continued to be the President until 1936 when Huey Long, instead of being assassinated a year earlier, would have spared Harry Truman of his misery a decade and a half later. Therefore, World War II would have been fought by Alf Landon and there would have been no Manhattan Project. Instead, a nuclear Soviet Union, long before a nuclear America, would have usurped most of the oil in the middle east. Yes, there would obviously be no Gallup poll either and we might still be reading The Literary Digest.

Of course, those are not reasons for suggesting this considered approach. Nothing is. Hence, one is encouraged to write how Chetan Bhagat would have spared us. Or show how your holiday fund would not have evaporated. You may use the comment space or email me. Or ask me for a login if you so wish.
