Our friend feels that the emergence of Djokovic has helped dilute the hate on Rafa here.

He even goes on to make the ridiculous claim that Djokovic can emerge to be a better all round player than Federer. I have to wonder if he watches tennis at all.

I cannot write enough words about how much I hate Djokovic since he faked injury to beat Gasquet in last year’s Estoril Open. And there was Gasquet laughing away merrily at a title that slipped away and a psychological edge blunted.

But someone here writes about why perhaps lots of tennis fans are indifferent to Djokovic’s success on tour. He picked up on a famous match between Monfils and Djokovic, where Djokovic even admitted that he used gamesmanship to break his opponent’s concentration. The writer gets dramatic and its all in good taste when something bad is written about the most hated player in the ATP tour.

Rafa doesn’t even come close to it, Jabberwock. Rafa is just boring, Djokovic is a faker, quitter, cheater and a champion. But he is just an ordinary tennis player. Not a patch on Gasquet and certainly not on Federer.
